ARES Rheometers

This two-day training course is held entirely in the lab, working on the instruments, running samples and analyzing data. This course covers our ARES Rheometer, and it is recommended that you have taken the Rheology Theory and Applications course prior to taking this hands-on course.

The course will cover:

Instrumentation
Sample Preparation
Method Development
Running Samples
Data Analysis & Interpretation
Calibration & Maintenance

Samples can include polymers, dispersions, and calibration materials. You are welcome to bring your own samples along, and while I can’t promise to run every one, we can at least discuss them and will attempt to run them.
