Thermal Advantage Software

Thermal Advantage software is Microsoft Windows™ XP Professional based and expandable to meet growing needs. It is powerful, yet easy-to-use, and optimizes the performance of all our Q Series thermal analysis and AR Series rheology modules. Its flexibility allows both our thermal and rheology modules to be operated from the same controller. The software includes Universal Analysis 2000 data analysis software, which continues to set industry standards for data analysis software. Many features of Advantage software came from direct customer input, the result being quality and intuitive software that meets the challenges of today's modern laboratory. The main features of the software are as follows:

  • Choice of preferences to enable the user to custom configure the system to meet individual needs.

  • Intuitive design, with convenient Wizards for set-up of
  • Ability to simultaneously operate up to 8 thermal measurement modules maximizes laboratory productivity.

  • Autoqueing feature enables set-up of multiple experiments for each module

  • Real-time plot feature enables the user to easily monitor experiments in progress, with digital display of real-time signals.

  • A major new feature of Advantage software is Platinum, which permits a user to schedule, at off-work times, a set of automatic calibration, verification and diagnostic tests designed to maintain a Q Series DSC or TGA in top operating condition. In addition, Platinum provides electronic notification of the completion of a test and allows a user the ability via the Internet to view and download new versions of Advantage software.
