ELECTRO-RHEOLOGICAL ANALYSIS

The Electro-Rheological (ER) Analysis Option for ARES-G2 permits simultaneous study of rheological properties of electro-rheological materials under the influence of precise high AC/DC voltages. The ER option is for use at ambient conditions, with the Peltier Plate, or Advanced Peltier System (APS). Includes a high voltage/current amplifier (gain bandwidth of 35 MHz) that can apply up to 4000 V potential and up to 20 mA current (AC and DC) with a slew rate of 100V/microsecond, a function generator, safety panels, interlocks, an upper geometry insulator, and a lower geometry grounding assembly.
